SwiftSignQuote didn't start as a startup pitch. In late 2018 an Australian sign shop competing with the big online sign retailers contracted us to build their pricing software. The algorithm we built has run in production ever since - quoting real jobs daily since early 2019, now on Version 5.
We're chartered professional engineers from mining and energy. The same mathematics that automates costing on $6 billion transmission line projects prices corflute, ACM, vehicle wraps and CNC-routed letters - from first principles, not fudge factors. SwiftSignQuote was built in Australia and our initial clients are Australian, but the platform works for sign shops anywhere. Data is stored regionally - Australia for Asia-Pacific, United States for the Americas, and Europe for EMEA.
How is SwiftSignQuote different from generic e-commerce platforms?
We built a dedicated platform because generic carts can't price configured manufacturing. Shopify and WooCommerce treat products as fixed SKUs, but a custom sign's cost depends on its dimensions, material nesting and machine time. So we built the calculation engine first, then made it embed in any website - including alongside an existing Shopify or WooCommerce store.
