You do not have to choose between online quoting and the production system you run. SwiftSignQuote covers what your current print MIS, sign management or production system does, so you can replace it fully. Or keep it, and we connect the two so your enquiries and sales flow straight into it, while SwiftSignQuote runs the automated quoting: built for scale, speed and being easy to buy from. Either way the front door changes: your customers get a price, order and pay on your own website, at any hour. You win the small jobs that used to wait for a callback.

The done-for-you automation platform for sign and print businesses: your customers price, order and pay on your own website, and we connect it all for you.

If you keep your production system, the customer side takes the enquiry, the price, the artwork and the payment, and the job goes to your production system through a bridge calibrated for you during onboarding. It is your call. Our recommendation is to let us handle the switch: run both side by side for a month or two, then switch the old one off once your team is settled.

What changes and what stays when you add customer-facing quoting?

The front door changes. Whether your production system stays is your call: SwiftSignQuote covers what it does, so you can replace it fully, or keep it and we connect the two.

StaysChanges
Your production or job management system, if you keep itCustomers price and order on your website, any hour
Your accounting, in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB or whatever you useCustomers pay by card, or check out as a quote for approval
Your website and your domainArtwork comes in with the order, and proofs are approved on your site
Your staff's board and their dayEvery enquiry and order lands on one board, with the thread to the customer
Your own quoting for the big, bespoke jobsRepeat accounts reorder through a portal without asking for a quote

Most owners who look at this already run something. Of 28 sign business owners we spoke to, 10 priced jobs in a spreadsheet or database they built themselves. Keep what you run or replace it. The new part is the thing neither of them does: a stranger on your website sets the size, material and quantity, sees a calculated price, and pays.

Will a second system fragment our job management?

No. If you keep your production system, the two do different jobs. The customer-facing side takes the enquiry, the price, the artwork, the proof and the payment. Your production system runs the job. For most production systems the bridge between them is calibrated for you during onboarding. Until then, orders land on one board, with the thread to the customer. If you would rather run one system, SwiftSignQuote covers what your production system does, so you can replace it fully.

Your staff do not have to learn a new way to run jobs. Your customers are the ones using the new front door. Staff see orders arrive on one board, with the thread to the customer.

How do website orders get into our MIS or production system?

It depends on what you run.

  • Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB or whatever you use connect directly. Paid orders and invoices flow into your accounting.
  • Trello connects directly, for businesses that run jobs on a board.
  • Any other production or job management system you keep: the bridge is calibrated for you during onboarding. It goes into your implementation schedule, in writing, with a week number.
  • Or replace it: SwiftSignQuote covers what your current production system does, so there is nothing to bridge.

Two more items are connected for you during onboarding:

  • Pricing for quote requests that arrive by email.
  • Follow-up for quotes that go quiet.

The full list of what connects is on the integrations page, and what the implementation covers is on done-for-you automation.

How does the switch run?

The rollout goes one kind of work at a time, so nobody gets everything at once.

  1. Small jobs first. The smallest jobs, walk-ins and small business orders, go fully self-serve: price, pay, upload, done. See instant quotes.
  2. Then the jobs where speed wins. The next band up, from tradies and small businesses with a job in hand. They get a price on the spot instead of waiting for one.
  3. Then the repeat accounts. Facilities managers, builders and councils log in to a B2B portal with their own pricing and reorder.
  4. The big work stays with you. For tenders, your team drops the tender pack in and a priced quote comes back. See tender quoting.

Through all of it your production system keeps running the way it does. It is your call. Our recommendation is to let us handle the switch: run both side by side for a month or two, then switch the old one off once your team is settled. If you would rather keep it, we connect the two so your enquiries and sales flow straight into it.

Who keeps the prices on the website right?

The worry is fair. A wrong price on the website, install especially, is one of the worries owners raise when they add a customer-facing system.

Price tables are calibrated for you during onboarding, against the way you already price. Install is priced from the customer's address when they ask for the quote. After go-live the price tables are yours to own and adjust. A reminder when a price has gone stale is connected for you during onboarding. That is also how two people on your team stop quoting the same job two ways: see two estimators, two prices.

Is a customer-facing system worth adding?

You are not buying a second quoting system for your staff. You are giving your customers a way to price and order that your current system never had. Repeat revenue was 84% to 94% across the sign and print business books we have analysed, and repeat orders are the work a customer-facing system takes off your desk.

We serve customers in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, Germany and the US. If you want to see the customer side before you talk to anyone, see it live on the demo store, from price to checkout to reorder.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to replace my MIS or production system to offer online quoting?

No, it is your call. SwiftSignQuote covers what your current production system does, so you can replace it fully. Or keep it, and the bridge into it is calibrated for you during onboarding, so your enquiries and sales flow straight into it. Our recommendation is to let us handle the switch: run both side by side for a month or two, then switch the old one off. Your accounting and your website stay either way.

Will my staff have to learn a new system?

Not to run jobs. Your customers use the new front door. Your staff see orders arrive on one board, with the thread to the customer.

How do online orders get into my production system?

Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, MYOB or whatever you use, and Trello, connect directly. For any other production or job management system you keep, the bridge is calibrated for you during onboarding and written into your implementation schedule with a week number. If you replace it, there is nothing to bridge.

What if the website shows the wrong price?

Price tables are calibrated for you during onboarding, against the way you already price, and install is priced from the customer's address. After go-live the price tables are yours to own and adjust, and a reminder when a price has gone stale is connected for you during onboarding.

How does the switch from our old system run?

We handle it. Both run side by side for a month or two, so your team settles in while the old system keeps running, then the old one is switched off. If you would rather keep it, we connect the two instead. It is your call.

Is a customer-facing system worth adding?

You are not buying a second quoting system for staff. You are giving customers a way to price and order that your current system never had. Repeat revenue was 84% to 94% across the sign and print business books we have analysed, and those repeat orders are the work a customer-facing system takes off your desk.
